THE BUDDHA - it's hard to ignore a massive bronze buddha. The Chinese when they regained Hong Kong in 1999,, removed most normal development - farms etc - from Lantau to set the Buddha in commemoration dedicated to harmony with Hong Kong. I am not sceptical; i truly hope it can work.
